In 1986, June Hunt began Hope for the Heart with a simple desire: to provide God’s truth for today’s problems. What started as a calling to equip people with biblical hope and practical help grew into a worldwide ministry impacting millions of lives through counseling resources, radio programs, training initiatives, and the trusted Keys for Living Library covering more than 100 life topics.
More than three decades later, that same heart for equipping people inspired a new vision.
In 2018, with the worldwide growth of life coaching as a distinct field, Dr. Eric Scalise brought together a group of respected Christian coaches, ministry leaders, and subject matter experts to pray, seek God’s direction, and explore how they might better equip Christians called to help others through life coaching. From those conversations, ICCI was born.
What began as a prayerful vision has grown into a thriving global community of over 1,000 Christian coaches, ministry leaders, and caregivers. Today, ICCI is one of the fastest growing faith-based life coaching networks in the world and continues to provide biblical training, credentialing, mentoring, and community for people who feel called to help others discover purpose, overcome obstacles, and move forward in life.
As God grows this ministry, He has brought together an incredible team of leaders and servant-hearted professionals who work behind the scenes every day to support, encourage, and equip our members around the world.
