Step 1
Join ICCI

Become a member and unlock $100 in course coupons, member pricing on every course, regular community gatherings, free coaching tools, and more.

Step 2
Choose Your Credential Level

  • Associate Level – 3 foundational courses (30 hours), 25 hours of field experience, 3 mentoring sessions
  • Professional Level – 3 foundational courses and 3 elective courses (60 hours), 70 hours of field experience, 6 mentoring sessions
  • Master Level – 20 courses (200 hours), 2 years of life coaching experience with 200 hours of coaching-related activities (coaching/training/mentoring others, etc.), 6 mentoring sessions

Step 3
Complete Your Training

Move at your own pace through online video courses taught by world-class faculty. Start with the Foundations courses and consider adding a specialization as you discover your niche.

Requirements & Costs

Step 4
Complete Practice & Mentoring Hours

Log your coaching hours and meet with one of our experienced mentors. This is where the training becomes real, and where some of the most important relationships of your coaching life begin.

Timeline: 3–6 months
Cost: approximately $450 – $1,200 depending on the number of required mentoring sessions

Step 5
Apply for Your Credential

When you purchase a Core Credential and/or Specialization, you will receive an application. Once you complete and submit your application along with required references, it will be reviewed (a 1–3 week process). Once approved, you will be notified and receive your credentialing certificate.

Timeline: 1–3 weeks
Cost: $149

Step 6
You’re a Christian Life Coach!

After you successfully complete all your course work, field experience, mentoring hours, and the application process – you will receive your Credential as a certified Christian Life Coach! 

An ICCI Credential represents your clear identity as a Christian Life Coach and has the backing and endorsement of many leading voices in the field today. Go out and change lives through your coaching – and stay active with the ICCI network for continuing support, a vibrant community, education, events, training, discounts, resources, referral opportunities, and more!

Get There

Master Credential (CMCLC)

Certified Master Christian Life Coach

  • Number of courses: 20
  • Course hours: 200
  • Mentoring sessions: 6
  • Coaching hours (field experience): 200 across 2 years**
  • Application will ask for email addresses of 4 reference (personal, professional, pastoral, and mentor of Life Coaching).
  • Estimated time to complete: 2+ years*
